The Evangelical Christian Church is the oldest house of worship in West Conshohocken. The building was erected in 1888 by the Heavenly Recruits Association which was started by the late Rev. Edwin L. Hyde. At the annual conference held in the Church from January 30 to February 2, 1894, the name was changed to Holiness Christian Association and in 1897 the name was changed to Holiness Christian Church. Today, the Church bears the true name of its religion, the Evangelical Christian Church and continues to have a strong following.
Alan Eckenroad, current Pastor of the Evangelical Christian Church, involves the community in many ways, especially the children in town by hosting Bible School twice a year and several youth groups. |

However, the Balligomingo Baptist Church had a long history in West Conshohocken. The Church building, a stately stone structure, was constructed in 1907.
Currently, Rev. Ken-Ang-Lee serves as Pastor of the Chinese Church of Philadelphia. |

| The Primitive Methodist Church has had a diversified, productive ministry. The beginnings are rooted in the Baptist tradition, later becoming a part of an Independent Wesleyan Association and finally uniting with the Primitive Methodist Denomination.
The present site was purchased and work on the foundation of the new building was immediately started. On December 8 of the same year, the cornerstone was laid and the church was opened for worship in 1896. Currently, Rev. Thomas Wambaugh serves as Pastor of the Primitive Methodist Church. |
